Can we all be merry?

As I write unto you, don’t forget that you are blessed.
2009 may have been a tough year for us but here we are, still standing.
You want to do something fun? Let’s end the year with a bang! I have a few proposals here for you to reflect on:
Ready? :)
1. Think of a person you probably have hurted the most. It could be a longtime friend, a dumped x, your parents or perhaps a distant relative. Do you think it’s about time to ask for their forgiveness? I think it is! J No matter how bad the situation is or how long ago it was, you still owe them that. Also, if you feel like giving out sorrys/sorries to others please feel free to do so. But I suggest you give it to the one you truly owe.
2. In relation to number 1, I guess it’s about time to forgive as well. Stop digging your heart and rummaging through bad memoirs of your past! Do you find yourself storing all the bad memories in your heart and crying over them to sleep? HEY! It’s about time to empty your memory card. Let’s hit the reformat button! Shall we?
3. Scan through your phonebook. Do you see a name of a person you used to laugh out with? Why don’t you send them a hearty random message and prolly meet up for old time’s sake? Now c’mon! You can do it!
4. Ever had a dish you always wanted to cook but too anxious cos your cooking skill is just pre-heating pandesal in your microwave? Good friend, it’s time to tie up your hair, raid your pantry, play on the spice girls or 2ne1 and show me that you’re more than just a cafe world aficionada/o. If it doesn’t turn out so well, we could laugh at it and try again.
5 Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, and wear the fancy lingerie or silky pajamas. Don’t save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
6. Now let’s go back to the basic rule: Say thank you with a smile. Say sorry and mean it. Stand up when you fall on your knees. Bless the food. Do not cheat. Pray before hitting the sack. Laugh at good jokes. Now tell me, is life that hard?
7. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn’t be in it.
8. Plan your New Year’s resolution and plan it well. List the bad trait you want to change the most; and after doing so, seal the deal with God. Trust me, you could do it big time! I REPEAT, plan it well before you propose a treaty with the Mighty Boy.
9. Extend a helping hand to our deprived brothers. I know this place called Sierra Leone and people can not afford to give birth in a hospital. Most of the moms really die due to infection and complications. Now before you starve yourself to achieve your desired weight, consider that in Cambodia, thousands of people die quietly out of hunger. Spare a slight amount of money on foods to feed a few people. It would be a great investment!

10. Give random act of kindness: To the people who ought to have it, to the people who does not deserve it, to the people who least expects it.
11. This is the hardest: Refrain from LYING. Good friends, do you find yourself lying even if you don’t have to? Making a mountain out of a molehill a.k.a exaggerating? Take some time to contemplate. On every occasion that you’re late, do you tell them you’re on your way even if you just got out of the shower? You don’t have to dig yourself into a deeper hole. Please, believe me on this. It’s life changing. And there are no white lies and black lies – They’re all lies.
Let’s see the changes right before our eyes. Start it by fixing our past so it won’t screw up our present. Smile. Stop whining and live life. Do not waste time! Remember: You’re always one day closer to meeting God. If you adhere to my suggestions, you would be my greatest achievement. Please notify me how it turned out. It would be greatly appreciated
*Should you wish to laugh, disregard or even discard this letter, it is all right. I still wish you well and pray for your good journey in life. Just bear in mind that when all else fails, and you got yourself into a trap of deceit, prayer would always do the trick.
